The Laboratory of Translation and Natural Language Processing (EMEL) of the School of French, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Joint Postgraduate Studies Programme “Conference Interpreting and Translation” of AUTh in collaboration with the Hellenic Society for Translation Studies, the Panhellenic Association of Translators, the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University, the Hellenic Society for Terminology and the Institute for Language Processing are organising the 8th Meeting of Greek-speaking Translation Studies Scholars to be held on 30, 31 May 2024 and 1 June 2024 at the Research Dissemination Center Building (KEDEA) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The meeting celebrates the 20th anniversary from the foundation of EMEL.

Renewing our invitation for this meeting, we thus invite Greek-speaking translation studies scholars, researchers, PhD candidates and translation professionals active in the academic field of interlingual communication to submit abstracts for paper presentations or panels in one of the following thematic axes:
